Concordia University, Nebraska recently presented its annual fall mainstage. This year, the production was “The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical.”

The musical’s book is written by Joe Tracz, with music and lyrics by Rob Rokicki. The show is based on the bestselling book series by author Rick Riordan. It details the journey of Percy Jackson after his discovery of his demigod status, his introduction to a camp for half-bloods and his first quest with newly foundfriends to prevent a war among the gods.

“It’s been a great, collaborative process, as we have welcomed a number of guest artists to work with the students as directors, choreographers, designers and musicians. The students have taken on this challenging production with passion and enthusiasm.”
