Concordia praise band plays at LEA conference

A six-member contemporary worship band from Concordia performed at the Lutheran Educators Association national convocation Oct. 24 and 25 in Milwaukee, Wis.

The student praise band was asked to play by LEA Executive Director Jonathan Laabs. Held triennially, this year’s conference carried the theme “Rise and Shine” and offered workshops and professional development opportunities for Lutheran teachers, administrators, pastors, directors of Christian education and church work students.

Assistant Professor of Music Pete Prochnow accompanied the band and its tech team to the conference. Prochnow serves as the director of Concordia’s worship arts program.
