Concordia Nebraska to present annual Dinner and a Movie event August 28

Concordia University, Nebraska will present the university’s annual Dinner and a Movie event on Friday, August 28 on the Weller lawn. The family-friendly gathering features a variety of local food trucks and a movie on the big screen. This year’s featured movie is Rio.

Food trucks will open at 5 p.m. and the movie showing will begin after sunset no later than 8 p.m. In addition to the food and entertainment, guests are encouraged to stop by the Concordia Nebraska Fan Shop to browse the latest Concordia Nebraska apparel, Bulldog gear, gifts and spirit items.

The event is free and open to the public. Guests are invited to bring lawn chairs or blankets for comfortable movie viewing.

Participating food trucks include Chartwells, Chi Style Kitchen, Hog Wild Pit BBQ, Kajani Roots, La Caretta, Wagon Wheel, What's the Scoop? and 10:31 Coffee. Please note, most food trucks are cash only.
