Concordia holds Advent service

A candlelight Advent service hosted by Concordia took place Sunday, Dec. 11, in the St. John Lutheran Church sanctuary. The service was a time for quiet meditation, music and scripture.
The service took its direction from Luke 1:46-47: “My soul glorifies the Lord, and my spirit rejoices in God my Savior.” Rev. Charles Blanco, assistant professor of theology at Concordia, delivered the sermon.
