Concordia graduates begin ministry

Seventy-six graduates of Concordia have accepted positions as teachers, directors of Christian education and directors of music in The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod. Another seventeen graduates have accepted positions with other ministries and with parochial and public schools.

“Even through difficult economic times education candidates are finding opportunities for ministry in public and parochial institutions,” said Bill Schranz, Concordia’s director of synodical placement. “Seventy-six percent of the 2011 education graduates who were seeking employment are currently employed as professionals in their degree areas.”

Candidates were placed in 21 of the LCMS’ 35 districts and will serve all ages in schools and congregations.
