LEA launched the Grow a Teacher initiative prior to the 2016 convocation, with the goal of providing registration and pre-convocation programming for 100 senior, junior or sophomore students in Lutheran teacher programs at Concordia University System schools and Valparaiso University. A select task force of 14 students from Concordia University, Nebraska will serve as the convocation’s Grow a Teacher planning team. Watch for special opportunities to support the teachers of our future.

We will also join the other Concordia Universities for a wonderful time of food, fun and fellowship Friday, Oct. 11, from 8 to 11 p.m., at Windows on Washington, located at 1601 Washington Ave., in St. Louis. All attendees are welcome to come and any area alumni!

Please look for the large Concordia Nebraska tower all lit up in the main convention center hall for our booth space! If you bring a student prospective referral (7th grade- 12th grade) or are considering graduate school — we will have a very special experience for you that you won’t want to miss! Stop on by!

We look forward to reconnecting with you at LEA!
