Concordia has received accreditation by the Higher Learning Commission to expand its distance learning degree programs. Numerous academic programs currently offered can now be delivered fully online, including two new graduate programs, Master of Human Services and Master of Public Health. Courses for both new programs are scheduled to begin by May 2012.

The Master of Human Services degree equips students to serve individuals and families by helping them locate the needed resources.  The program offers a choice of a generalist course of study or one of three specializations: gerontology, community and public health, or human services leadership and management.

A Master of Public Health degree provides students with a strong foundation in public health concepts and knowledge that can be applied in the health industry. The program offers two specializations: community health education and health policy and administration.

Concordia’s current programs that will now be available online include graduate programs in education, gerontology and aging studies, and family life.
