On the heels of its high placement in U.S. News and World Report rankings, Concordia has earned the 15th spot nationally in a list of top baccalaureate colleges by the Washington Monthly released Aug. 23.

The rankings measure and quantify how well individual colleges and universities are meeting their public obligations in the areas of research, service and social mobility. Concordia received an overall score of 65, the highest score of all schools in the Concordia University System.

"The recognition of Concordia's commitment to a diverse student population and to service is great," said Aaron Roberts, director of undergraduate recruitment. "Our faculty and staff provide excellent academics and extensive extra-curricular opportunities within a Christian community which equips students to succeed in the classroom and beyond."
