Ten Concordia seniors were selected to this year’s homecoming court. The coronation ceremony was held Saturday, Oct. 8, during halftime of the Bulldog football game. Charles Washington and Anna Meyer were crowned king and queen.

Students voted on royalty in two rounds. First, nominations were taken for the court. Students then voted on king and queen throughout homecoming week.

“I cannot describe how blessed and honored I feel to have this title,” said Queen Anna Meyer. “When I was a little girl growing up in Seward, I was asked to carry the crown for the queen on a pillow at the homecoming dance before the announcement. I really thought I was in the presence of royalty and wanted to be just like the queen! Now, to my surprise, my silly dream actually came true! I cannot be more thankful to be part of this Concordia tradition.”
