Concordia University announced only a 4.4% increase in tuition, room and board, and fees for 2011-12: $29,170 annually. Rev. Dr. Brian Friedrich, university president, announced the tuition cost with the university student senate.
“We are committed to doing everything possible to continue to keep Concordia affordable for students and families,” Friedrich said. “Our goal remains the same: academic excellence in the classroom and throughout the entire campus as we equip students to learn, serve and lead in church and world.”
Concordia and Creighton University were the only Nebraska schools to appear on U.S. News & World Report’s 2011 “Great Schools, Great Prices” lists.
