Christmas at Concordia tickets available Nov. 4

Tickets for Concordia’s annual Christmas at Concordia concerts are available to be reserved Nov. 4 at 4 p.m. Available tickets are reserved very quickly; calling within the first hour of registration is recommended.

Registration to attend a Christmas at Concordia concert, performed each year by the musical ensembles from Concordia University, Nebraska, will open on Nov. 4, 2015, beginning at 4 p.m. Tickets may be reserved by calling 402-643-7150 or 402-643-7160.

The performances will be on Friday, Dec. 4, at 7 p.m., Saturday Dec. 5, at 3 p.m. and 7 p.m., and Sunday, Dec. 6, at 3 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward.

Christmas at Concordia weekend will include two additional community events. The Scholarship Parade of Homes will be Sunday, Dec. 6, from 12:30 to 4:30 p.m. It will feature five local homes decorated for the holiday season and open to tours. Tickets are available in advance for $12 at any Seward bank or on the day of the event for $15 in the Seward High School lobby or Concordia’s Weller Hall lobby.

Concordia’s second annual Christmas Open House at the Janzow Campus Center will be Sunday, Dec. 6, starting at 4:30 p.m. The public is invited to join enjoy music, decorations and refreshments in the Cattle Conference Room of Concordia’s Janzow Campus Center, which overlooks The C.G. “Kelly” and Virginia Holthus Family Plaza, a new addition to campus in 2014. The open house will conclude with caroling and the lighting of Concordia’s 40-foot Christmas tree near the plaza at 6 p.m.
