Chamber Recital features voice, trumpet, piano, cello performances

Elizabeth Grimpo, associate professor of music, and music students from Concordia will perform the Chamber Recital on campus Nov. 5, 2015, at 7 p.m.

Concordia's Chamber Recital is scheduled for Nov. 5, 2015, at 7 p.m. in the Recital Hall of the Music Center on campus. It will feature voice duets, piano, cello and trumpet performances, as well as a brass ensemble performance.

“Our students regularly perform individually and in large ensembles, but this recital gives them an opportunity to collaborate with a few other musicians and perform in a chamber, or small ensemble, setting,” said Elizabeth Grimpo, associate professor of music.

  • Ryan Gross, senior, Riverside, Calif., piccolo trumpet and Brass Ensemble, "Concerto for Two Trumpets," by Vivaldi and a fugue by Mozart, respectively
  • Meredith Locke, sophomore, Winter Haven, Fla., violin and voice, "Autumn Song (October)," by Tchaikovsky, and "Laudamus T," by Vivaldi, respectively
  • Jennifer Reynolds, senior, Fort Wayne, Ind., piccolo trumpet, "Concerto for Two Trumpets," by Vivaldi
  • Jennifer Reynolds, senior, Fort Wayne, Ind., Brass Ensemble, a fugue by Mozart
