Concordia's Chamber Choir woke up in the city that never sleeps when it toured the East Coast May 10-16. The choir visited nine cities, including New York City, Baltimore and Washington, D.C.

Concordia’s sixteen-voice select choir, chosen from the University A Cappella Choir, performed traditional and contemporary chamber choral works. The choir is conducted by Dr. Kurt von Kampen.

“Touring is a vital component of the Chamber Choir experience,” explained von Kampen.  “On tour we not only get to hone our musical craft by performing the same music multiple times, but also we have the opportunity to reach many more people with the Gospel message.  It is also a wonderful time for current Concordia students to connect with alumni, friends of the institution and relatives.”
