Chamber Choir embarks on annual tour

Concordia's Chamber Choir visited Arizona for a five-day tour Jan. 31-Feb. 3. The choir performed eight concerts in four cities including Scottsdale, Tucson, Apache Junction and Phoenix, Ariz.
The choir performed at five churches and also stopped at Christ Lutheran High School in Phoenix to perform. Christ’s high school choir collaborated with the Valley Lutheran High School choir and join Concordia’s singers for several selections in the performance for the school.
“We were anxious to once again share the Gospel message in song with our friends in the Southwest,” said Dr. Kurt von Kampen, professor of music and director of the choir.
