The Concordia University, Nebraska A Cappella choir toured the southern Midwest March 9-18.

Concordia’s premier vocal ensemble, the University A Cappella Choir, began its annual spring tour on Friday, March 9. The 70-member choir performed 10 concerts at schools and churches in Oklahoma, Texas and Kansas.

“I was very excited about returning to Kansas, Oklahoma and Texas,” said Dr. Kurt von Kampen, A Cappella choir director. “We had heard about ‘southern hospitality’ but experiencing it first hand was a true blessing."

The internationally acclaimed A Cappella Choir has enjoyed a long tradition of fine choral singing since its inception in 1939. The choir performs a diverse selection of sacred and secular music.
