The Seward community offers a variety of off-campus worship opportunities that are open to Concordia University, Nebraska students. Many of Concordia’s students attend St. John Lutheran Church and The Rock Lutheran Church in Seward and Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Staplehurst.

St. John Lutheran Church offers many opportunities for college students outside of Sunday morning worship. Students are welcome to attend the education hour in between services on Sundays. St. John occasionally hosts meals in their fellowship hall that is open to the congregation and Concordia students. In addition, Pastor Nathan Scheck is hosting a Concordia student Bible study at his house Monday nights at 8 p.m.

The Rock Lutheran Church offers an after-church Bible study Sundays at 11:15 a.m. Concordia students are welcome to attend this. There is also a Bible study offered Monday nights at 7 p.m. at a member’s home.

There are a variety of additional off campus worship opportunities within Seward County where students can worship. You can view off-campus worship opportunities here.
