Dr. Ron Bork will serve for the next three years on the NCATE National Board of Examiners.

Dr. Ronald Bork, dean of the College of Education at Concordia, has been selected as a member of the National Board of Examiners for The National Council for Accreditation of Teacher Education. Bork now serves as part of the accreditation team for current or prospective NCATE institutions.

“Serving on the Board of Examiners gives me the opportunity to be part of the advancement of our teaching profession and our teacher education institutions,” said Bork. “This appointment will put me in contact with teacher education programs all over the United States and give me a new perspective on the preparation of teachers at other institutions. That knowledge will assist us at Concordia University, Nebraska as we continue to review and revise our teacher education program.”

Bork’s first assignment for his three-year appointment is to be part of the offsite visit team for Duquesne University of Pennsylvania.
