A Life Called Church Work Recruiting Weekend

Concordia University, Nebraska invites you and your family to explore our church work programs at "A Life Called" - our church work visit event on Sunday, Oct. 13 - Monday, Oct. 14, 2024.

Registration will be Capped at 40 People.

While attending "A Life Called", you will be able to:

Learn about our five church work programs (Director of Christian Education, Director of Parish Music, Lutheran Teacher, Pre-Deaconess, Pre-Seminary); sit in on church work classes and learn alongside current students; engage with our church work faculty; tour campus and see the residence halls; and learn about financial aid opportunities.

If traveling from far away and will be here Sunday morning…we can provide a list of churches to visit and places to go for lunch. 

Additional Information

• All housing, meals, and activities are free for students.
• Students will be paired with a “host student” that they will stay with Sunday night. Students should bring their own pillow and a sleeping bag. If flying in, let us know so we can provide bedding. 
• Mileage reimbursement can be given to groups of 3+ students
• Admitted students who fly in can be reimbursed $200 and we can pick them up at the Lincoln or Omaha airport.  
• Parents are encouraged to participate in this visit event but will need to find their own overnight accommodations. Hotel options in Seward:
