Named the protector of Concordia men’s soccer goal the past two matches, Gabriel Mendoza was honored as the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Defensive Player of the Week, as announced by the league on Tuesday (Sept. 12).
Five different Bulldogs notched at least one goal as the home team rolled to a 7-0 win over McPherson College (Kan.) on Saturday (Sept. 9). Concordia owned the shot count, 41-2, and got two goals from Okan Erkocu.
