Spring Tour 2010
Concordia University, Nebraska’s premier vocal ensemble, the University A Cappella Choir, will begin its annual spring tour on Friday, March 12. The 70-member choir has scheduled performances at schools and churches in Missouri, Arkansas, Louisiana, Tennessee and Illinois before returning home to Seward for its final tour performance on March 28. All concerts are free and open to the public.
The A Cappella Choir will perform music spanning historical eras including the music of J.S. Bach, Mendelssohn, Eric Whitacre and Moses Hogan. The wide variety of composers allows the choir to demonstrate many styles and techniques. The tour also gives the students a chance to share their love of Christ through song.
