Bockelman exhibits work at UNO
An exhibit from Concordia University, Nebraska associate professor of art James Bockelman will open at University of Nebraska Omaha on Thursday, Sept. 3.
A reception for the show, “A Sidelong Glance: Recent Work on Paper by James Bockelman," is scheduled from 6 - 8 p.m.
"It is a thrill to be able to show my drawings at UNO because it’s an opportunity to see them under new light and hear reactions," said Bockelman.
Composed primarily using acrylic and graphite, “A Sidelong Glance” will be on display until Friday, Oct. 2. The gallery is located in the Weber Fine Arts Building on campus, 6001 Dodge Street, in Omaha.

The new Wolfram Art Gallery at The Lutheran Church - Missouri Synod International Center in St. Louis will open on Thursday, May 14. The name of the gallery honors William Wolfram, emeritus professor and former art department chair at Concordia. [
