Logan Wagner is in her first year as graduate assistant golf coach for the Concordia University men’s and women’s programs in 2017-18. She graduated from Mount Marty College in May 2017.
A native of Parkston, S.D., Wagner starred both on the golf course and on the basketball court as a Lancer. As a golfer, Wagner placed inside the top 10 of the GPAC all four years (second, third, fourth, eighth) and finished her collegiate career with 12 of Mount Marty’s lowest 15 scores all-time. Wagner won six career tournaments and was named the 2016-17 Mount Marty Female Athlete of the Year.
Also a four-year letterwinner in basketball, Wagner started each season as a Lancer. She earned all-conference honors three times while breaking the school record for most career 3-point field goals. Second in school history in career games played, Wagner racked up more than 1,000 career points and helped the 2015-16 team to a national semifinal appearance. She was named Mount Marty’s offensive player of the year as a senior.
Wagner has coached First Tee for golf and also served the ‘Little Lancers’ program as a collegiate athlete. She graduated from Mount Marty with degrees in accounting and business administration. Wagner is pursuing a master’s in business (emphasis in accounting) from Concordia. She is the daughter of Gregg and Rita Wagner.
