Kendall Festervand Athletics

Kendall Festervand is in her first year as a graduate assistant within athletic communications at Concordia University in 2018-19. She transitioned into athletic communications after her time as a student-athlete at University of Texas at Dallas.
During her time as a student at UTD, Festervand worked in the athletic department for three years, lending her services in areas such as camera crew, scoreboard operation, replay monitor, libero tracker, tickets and concessions. She also worked in athletic marketing with tasks that included social media, promotions and game events. She also completed an internship with the Texas Legends Gatorade League team in game day management, promotions and sales. In another internship opportunity, Festervand worked for Hoop Group Skills Basketball Camp, performing a variety of operations, including social media, camp management, photography and writing of camp newsletters.
As a member of the women’s basketball team, first at Western Texas College and then UTD, Festervand helped her squads to conference runner up and conference championship seasons. She earned a marketing degree from the University of Texas at Dallas.
Kendall is the daughter of Howard and Rachel Festervand. She has an older brother Michael. Kendall’s interests include playing basketball, listening to music, fishing and hanging out with friends and family.
