Dan Ball completed his first season as goalkeeper coach for both the Concordia University men’s and women’s soccer programs in 2016. Ball serves on the staffs of head coaches Jason Weides and Greg Henson.

Ball tutored starting keepers Mark Horsburgh and Chrissy Lind for teams that both advanced to the GPAC tournament championship game in 2016. Lind earned second team all-conference honors while Horsburgh garnered honorable mention accolades.

A graduate of Milligan College in Tennessee, Ball previously served as an assistant coach at Milligan, where he also worked closely with the team’s keepers. In addition, he assisted at the Premier Goalkeeper Academy Camp.

Ball started all four seasons during his playing career at Milligan. He helped the Buffaloes to two Appalachian Athletic Conference titles while earning all-conference recognition three times. He served as team captain for two years. The native of Chatham, England, received his bachelor of arts in political science with a minor in English from Milligan. He is pursuing a master’s in business administration from Concordia.

Dan is the son of Carl and Melissa Ball.
