Kara Baney grew up in Grand Island, NE. She graduated from Concordia in 2014 with a B.S. in Middle Level Education, concentrating in Language Arts and Social Sciences. She taught 5th and 6th grade from 2014-2016 in rural Deshler, NE.

“Graduating from a Lutheran high school in Grand Island, many of my teachers were Concordia graduates and encouraged me to visit. Once I visited campus during my senior year, I knew Concordia was where I needed to be. I was certain I would be able to excel academically and be nurtured spiritually. This campus stresses the importance of relationships and community and has allowed me to make connections with people all around me.  Wherever you go, you will find a Concordia connection! I look forward to sharing the Concordia Experience with high school students each day.”
