The professors here care a lot about students and will go out of their way to help you.
“My favorite thing about Concordia would be the opportunities that the school has to offer,” says world and intercultural studies major, Ray Villegas. “I was blessed with several opportunities to try new things, such as going to the Beautiful Feet Mission conference in Austin, Texas and being able to go to China to teach English at a summer camp.”
Besides getting to travel and learn about the world, Concordia also gives Ray the help he needs academically and personally. “Many people don’t realize that the type of academic help Concordia offers to students is not provided at many colleges,” Ray says. “After transferring from a larger school, I have seen that the professors here care a lot about students and will go out of their way to help you by offering help outside their office hours. It’s something very valuable that people don’t get at many other universities.”
