Students get a 'Jump Start'

Concordia held the second of its two Jump Start days on Monday, Aug. 2. Hundreds of incoming students and their families took advantage of the chance to learn more about the upcoming college experience and complete business in various offices on campus.
“We have had a great response to Jump Start days,” said Aaron Roberts, director of admissions. “We are excited to welcome these incoming students to campus. Our goal is to allow students a chance to feel confident when they arrive on campus in the fall and already have a few items accomplished.”
The day's schedule included group sessions and activities that new students and families can choose from as they feel the need.
Jump Start general schedule:
8:15 - Registration, HHPAC
8:45 - Opening Session, Weller chapel
9:00 - Jump Start Session I, campus wide
11:00 - Q & A Panel, TLEC Auditorium
11:45 - Lunch with faculty & staff, Janzow cafeteria
1:00 - Jump Start Session II, campus wide
