The annual Bulldog Track and Field Challenge is set to take place March 17-19 inside the Walz Fieldhouse. Forty-five high school teams will make their way to campus.
On the heels of his second career shot put national title, junior Zach Lurz raked in another prestigious honor. Lurz has been tabbed a national award winner by the USTFCCCA.
Following a dominant performance by Concordia throwers at the 2016 indoor national championships, assistant Ed McLaughlin garnered a national coaching award.
The Concordia track and field teams finished the NAIA Indoor Championships in the top five after a three day event. The men placed third with 58 points while the women finished fifth with 43 points.
A total of 10 Concordia men’s and women’s track and field athletes were named All-Americans after the second day of the NAIA Indoor Championships, including Cody Boellstorff who won the title in the men’s weight throw.
