Even for Tristan Smith, this was something else. No. 22 wrote a new chapter of Bulldog folklore on Wednesday (Feb. 26) while breaking the school single game record with 48 points in a 101-81 win over Midland.

Two wins in the final week of the regular season allowed the 12th-ranked Bulldogs to lock up the No. 2 seed in the GPAC tournament. Concordia will welcome Midland to Friedrich Arena for the quarterfinal round.

In the absence of Noah Schutte, five double-figure scorers rose to the occasion and lifted the 12th-ranked Bulldogs to an 88-74 win at Mount Marty on Saturday (Feb. 22). Concordia locked up the GPAC's No. 2 seed.

As part of senior day festivities the 12th-ranked Bulldogs dominated the second half and thumped rival Doane, 89-59, on Wednesday (Feb. 19). Senior Tristan Smith posted 19 points and nine rebounds in the win.

A group of 11 Bulldogs represented Concordia Men's Basketball on the list of 2024-25 NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Four of the honorees are repeat award winners.
