University A Cappella Choir

Festival Chorus of Concordia
The Festival Chorus of Concordia sings major choral works too lengthy for other programs. Organized every second year, it comprises the combined membership of the A Cappella Choir and the Concordia Singers. Rehearsals are held as needed. The chorus is directed by Kurt E. von Kampen.
Opera ensemble
Opera ensemble performs scenes from operas. Members are recommended by their voice instructors and accepted by the director. The ensemble rehearses two hours per week except during the fall semester of even-numbered years, when a musical is performed at Concordia. The director is Jeffrey Keele.
Chorale
Chorale is a mixed choir of approximately 55 voices that sings sacred and secular choral music from all historical periods. It is a non-auditioned ensemble, and membership is representative of most academic disciplines. The choir rehearses twice per week and performs one concert each semester, plus occasional chapel and church services. Chorale is directed by Joseph Herl.
