Jazz from the Prairie tour
The Concordia's Vocal Jazz Choir will travel through Missouri and Nebraska on their Jazz from the Prairie Tour in May 2008. They will tour side by side with Concordia Jazz Ensemble and join forces on select numbers. A tour highlight will be a concert at the acoustically perfect Sheldon Concert Hall in St. Louis.
During the performances, each ensemble will perform energetic arrangements of both jazz standards and some less well know pieces. The 16-member choir is under the direction of Kurt E. von Kampen and Andrew Schultz conducts the jazz ensemble.

Tickets are free for ages four and under, $6 for ages five through college students, $10 for adults and $25 for reserved VIP seating.
