Thank you for taking time to learn about Concordia! We are pleased you are interested in Concordia. We look forward to getting to know you and how we might serve you and your needs. As you learn more about us, we want you to know:
- We are a Lutheran, Christian university focused on community, calling and Christ.
- Students are our number 1 priority.
- More than 1,200 students from 43 states and several foreign countries are studying here.
- Nearly 90 percent of our health professions and pre-law graduates are accepted by medical and law colleges.
- We are the leader in preparing professional workers for The Lutheran Church--Missouri Synod.
- One hundred students participated in service and outreach ministry opportunities in 9 countries during the summer of 2007.
- Nearly 80 percent of our faculty members have the highest degrees in their fields.
- Concordia is the No. 1 Nebraska school in the Midwest region of best baccalaureate colleges in the 2008 U.S. News & World Report survey, America's Best Colleges. Concordia is ranked 19th in its class in the Midwest region.
- Students learn from talented faculty members such as Fulbright Scholar, Dr. Andrew Langewisch.
- 2006-07 was the fourth consecutive year our student-athletes led the Great Plains Athletic Conference in the number of NAIA Scholar Athletes.
- We are constructing a new Health, Human Performance and Athletic Center. Phase 1 (arena, classroom and locker rooms) will be completed by June 2009.
- Students receive an excellent, holistic, Christ-centered education and upon graduation are prepared to serve and lead in church and world.
