Additional information about the homes:

Kurth & Jessica Brashear

111 Seward Street

Kurth and Jessica Brashear fell in love with their home upon purchasing it in April 2013 after moving to Seward from Omaha. The house was built in 1903 with a folk Victorian style. It has unique features such as tall ceilings that Jessica loves and a wrap-around porch that Kurth appreciates. The Brashears have found that the large yard is enjoyable for their three children, and the modern kitchen is perfect for entertaining guests.

Roger & Carrie Fitzke

777 E. Pinewood Avenue

Roger and Carrie Fitzke purchased their home in January 2011. The house was built in 1978 for the family of Dr. and Mrs. Plessmen. Over the last four years, the Fitzkes have remodeled the Tudor-style home, which has five bedrooms and sits on one acre of land. The house is located in close proximity to a walking path that allows the family to watch many ball games in the summer.

Kyle & Allison Garrett Johnson

222 S. Columbia Avenue

The house that used to be Studio E is now a photography studio for Allison, who moved to Seward from Lincoln after marrying Kyle in January 2015. The Johnsons loved the modern feel of the home combined with the charm of the wooden floors, original cabinets and French doors.

Mark & Ingrid Minchow

1421 205th Drive

Located near the hills of Garland, the home of Mark and Ingrid Minchow is partially timber framed. The frame was built traditionally with no bolts, nails or screws to hold it together. Much of the wood was salvaged from a subway rail in Toronto, Canada. The house sits so that the south wall of windows provides heat and a luscious view of the Nebraska woodlands. The Minchows have enjoyed accenting their home to match the woodlands, and the open floor plan provides an abundance of room for their family of four.

Steve & Jenny Pinkall

777 E. Pinewood Avenue

Steve and Jenny Pinkall began living in their home in January 2013. It has had two previous owners since being built in 2007. Their home has many perks, including a great amount of openness and a large kitchen. It is a ranch style house with four bedrooms, and the décor is traditional.
