Concordia University softball coach Bob Ginsburg announced this week the signing of two athletes who will compete for the Bulldogs in 2010, Natalie Svoboda and Brittany Singleton.
Natalie Svoboda, an outfield prospect from Lincoln, Neb., will graduate from Lincoln Northeast High school in May 2009. Svoboda is a three-year letter winner for the Rockets as a center fielder. She also earned a letter in basketball as a guard. Natalie is the daughter of Jeff and Theresa Svoboda.
Brittany Singleton, a middle infield prospect and teammate of Natalie Svoboda at Lincoln Northeast, will also graduate in May 2009 as a four-year letter winner for the Rockets. Singleton has twice been named to the Lincoln Journal Star Academic All-State team as a two-year team captain. As a senior, Singleton was named to all-city and all-conference teams while helping Lincoln Northeast to a district runner-up finish in 2008. Singleton was a member of the National Honor Society and a four-year member of the honor roll. Brittany is the daughter of Ken and Cindy Singleton.
