Sophomore Grant Rolfsmeier (Seward, Neb.) was named the Bulldog Athlete of the Week for his performance against Briar Cliff.
"Grant had an outstanding game," said defensive coordinator Vance Winter. "Grant was flying all over the field and he made all the plays we asked him to make."
In the Bulldogs 17-7 victory over Briar Cliff, Rolfsmeier registered 9.5 tackles including two tackles for loss and has two pass break ups.
Grant, the son of Doug and Wendy Rolfsmeier, enjoys hunting and fishing in his time away from football.
Junior Dani Hoagland (Rushville, Neb.) was named the Bulldog Athlete of the Week for her performance against Doane and York.
"Dani had a great week," said head coach Rachel Miller. "The team looks to Dani for leadership and experience, and she did a great job last week of providing that through her play at the net."
Dani, the daughter of Gary and Angie Hoagland, enjoys reading, shopping, and spending time with friends and family.
