Dr. Kregg Einspahr, head track and field coach at Concordia University, Nebraska, was named the Great Plains Athletic Conference Co-Coach of the Year. Einspahr shares the honor with Ed Fye of Doane College.
Einspahr helped lead the squad to a third place finish at the GPAC Championships held May 3 in Sioux City, Iowa. In addition the Bulldogs were also third during at the GPAC Indoor Championships.
At the conference championship meet the Bulldogs won 10 events and 28 Concordia athletes were honored with all-conference distinctions. The Bulldogs are currently preparing to travel to St. Louis, Mo., for the 2008 NAIA Outdoor Championships to be held May 22-24.
