Concordia University, Nebraska track and field coach Kregg Einspahr and football coach Courtney Meyer are pleased to announced that Charles Dunbar of Lutheran North High School in St. Louis, Mo., has signed with the Bulldogs for next year.
"We are excited to have an outstanding athlete like Charles choose Concordia," Einspahr said.
Dunbar brings an impressive resume to the Bulldog track and football programs. In 2007 Dunbar was a member of a 4x200 relay team that finished third at the Missouri Class 3A State Championship Meet.
On the football field, Dunbar is a two-time first team All-Lutheran selection, two-time All-Conference selection, and as a senior, was named first team All-Region and third team All-State.
Dunbar was also a standout in basketball for the Crusaders. A two time All-Conference selection, his Lutheran North team won the conference championship each of Dunbar's four seasons.
