TF: Twilight meet to be videocast

Article Body

The Concordia University, Nebraska athletic department announces the live videocast of  the 2008 Concordia Twilight Track Meet by the Concordia Sports Network. The meet will take place on Friday, May 9, at 2:30 p.m.

For the first time Bulldogs fans will be able to view the track meet live as it happens via a video stream with an audio commentary. The videocast will be accessible through the "Webcasts - CSN" link at www.cune.edu/athletics.

"This is the next step in our coverage of Bulldog athletics," said Wade Tracy, sports information director. "We have been offering audio and video broadcasts via the web for football, soccer, volleyball and basketball, so it made sense to offer it for track and field."

The addition of video complements the other services offered by the CSN including live audio play-by-play broadcasts of select Bulldog sporting events. In addition, fans can stay up-to-date with the eScores service, a one-of-a-kind fan messaging service, which allows fans to instantly receive scores and other information from the Bulldog athletics department via e-mail or cell phone.

Schedules of upcoming events and webcasts can be found online at www.cune.edu/athletics via the "Webcasts - CSN" link.
