The Concordia University women's tennis team pushed their winning streak to six matches, defeating Briar Cliff University 9-0.
Concordia (7-1, 3-0 GPAC) cruised right through the Chargers as the Bulldogs have now only lost one match in their last two GPAC meetings. The Bulldogs were relatively untested throughout the day as Hannah Krueger cruised in number one singles, winning in straight sets 6-1, 6-2.
Erinn Beckman had the closest singles match of the day in number two doubles but still won easily 6-3 and 6-3. The Bulldogs dominated the Chargers in the remaining singles matches as Heather Jackson, Taylor Cook, Leah Koopman, and Kim Francis all won their matches easily.
The Bulldogs also had the Chargers numbers in the doubles play as Concordia swept through the tandem play with wins of 8-1, 8-5 and 8-0.
The next action for the Bulldogs comes April 15 as the Bulldogs head to Hastings, Neb. to take on the Hastings College Broncos. The Bulldogs defeated the Broncos in the first match of the season, a non conference match, 7-2.
