MBB: Three earn honors for Bulldogs

The Concordia University, Nebraska men's basketball team has placed three players on the 2007-08 Great Plains Athletic Conference (GPAC) All-Conference Team. The list, released last week, consists of 10 first-team members, 10 second-team members and an honorable mention list.

Senior Scott Hannon (York, Neb.) headlines the Bulldogs earning honors, being named to the second-team. It is the second consecutive season Hannon has been named to the second team.

Others earning honors included senior guard Benjamin Buhr and freshman Tyler Bredehoeft who were tabbed as honorable mention selections.

Hannon was the second leading scorer for Concordia. The 6-7 forward was a threat inside and out for the Bulldogs, averaging 14.4 points per game. He also pulled down 150 boards and hit 38 three-point field goals on the season

Buhr (Lincoln, Neb.) led the Bulldogs from beyond the arc, hitting 68 three-point baskets on the season while averaging 14.6 points. For his career Buhr has hit 243 field goals from long range. 

Bredehoeft (Alma, Mo.) was the spark off the bench for the Bulldogs, averaging 8.6 points per game. Bredehoeft was also one of the top threats from deep for Concordia hitting on 37 percent of his three point attempts.
