The Concordia University, Nebraska women's golf team wrapped up their fall season at the 2007 GPAC Championship meet played at Wilderness Ridge Golf Course in Lincoln, Neb.

The tournament was played Friday and Saturday and featured 11 GPAC teams.

Concordia finished the tournament in 10th place as a team, shooting a total of 846 (431-415). The University of Sioux Falls ran away with the team title with a 666, 15 strokes better than the next best team, Dakota Wesleyan (681).

"As a team we set goals each season," said Head Coach Carl Everts. "A pair of our goals was to improve our team score and standing at the conference meet. We did each of those things this year."

Freshman Alyssa Hedlund paced the Bulldogs carding a 204 (104-100), good enough for 42nd place overall. Teammate Natalie Swanda took 45th in the individual standings with a 212. Rounding out the scoring for Concordia was Corrie Johnson (214), Jennifer Schulties (219) and Chelsea Karmann (224).

Concordia will loose just one player to graduation, senior Corrie Johnson, and will continue to practice on their own and go though and off season weight training program before starting spring practice again in March.
