The Concordia University, Nebraska volleyball team finished with 17 blocks as a team in a sweep of the Midland Lutheran Warriors (-28, -29, -29) Tuesday night at the "Dog House" in Seward.

Concordia (11-7) is now 2-2 in GPAC play while Midland (7-10) falls to 2-3.

The Bulldogs continued the recent solid play at the net defensively out blocking the Warriors 17-6.5. Sophomore Dani Hoagland finished with three solo and five assist blocks. Senior Katie Werner added one solo and seven assist.

Werner led the team in kills with 13, hitting .385 on the night. Sophomore setter/right side Kelli Ziegler notched a triple-double for Concordia, finishing with 10 kills, 18 set assists and 10 digs. It is the third triple-double in as many matches for Zielger.

Midland was paced by Amanda Hunt who finished the game with 14 kills.

The Bulldogs are in action again this Friday, taking on Northwestern College (Iowa) in a 7:30 p.m. contest in Seward.
