Josh Slechta broke another program record and Kim Wood turned in an automatic national qualifying mark at the Drake Relays as part of Thursday's action.

A group of 10 Bulldogs will travel to the prestigious Drake Relays to compete in Des Moines, Iowa. The list includes five throwers and five runners.

The GPAC office announced this week’s Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Track and Field Athletes of the Week as Josh Slechta and Trevor Bresson.

Josh Slechta nearly broke the program record in the discus as one of nine Bulldogs to claim event titles during the two-day Dutcher Memorial hosted by Doane.

Liz King and Emily Sievert both claimed event titles on day 1 of 2 at the Jim Dutcher Memorial hosted by Doane. Day 2 continues on Saturday in Crete.

Saturday's scheduled UNK Loper Invitational track meet was canceled due to inclement weather. The meet will not be made up.

The annual Concordia Outdoor Invitational is set to get started at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will look to expand upon their 24 automatic national qualifying marks.

Thanks to her trifecta of winning performances at the Bronco Invite, senior Stephanie Coley became the third thrower in 2016 to earn national weekly honors from the NAIA.
