The 2023 men’s soccer team finished unbeaten with a 13-0-4 overall record and 7-0-4 in the conference. They are the first team to complete such a massive feat in the program’s 53-year history (1970).

Senior day was celebrated on Saturday (Oct. 21), as Concordia hosted Waldorf for their final regular season home match at Bulldog Stadium. Iker Casanova, Braden Spath, Michael Lindberg and Ryan Wokutch were the four seniors honored.

Dre Williams was honored with the GPAC/Hauff Mid-America Sports Men's Soccer Offensive Player of the Week by the league office on Tuesday (Oct. 10). Williams kicked in both Concordia goals in the 2-1 win at Jamestown on Saturday (Oct. 7).
After making the eight hour drive to Jamestown, they found themselves down(1-0) in the first half but Dre Williams came out after the break, putting two scores on the board including the late game winner.

Head coach Jason Weides likens this to situation to simply having an extended period of summer. The onus is on the players to get better individually as they prepare for the 2020 season.
While the Bulldogs came up shy of their aim to win a GPAC title, they put 10 wins on the board and set the program up for potential future success. Many key performers will return in 2020.
A member of a GPAC tournament championship team, Toby Down recently experienced another high. His Tai Po FC professional team celebrated a Hong Kong Premier League title this May.
