In rankings that look nearly identical to a the final 2019 standings, the 2020 GPAC Preseason Football Coaches’ Poll has slotted the Concordia Football team in at No. 7.
Sure it was a Nebraska 'B' team that Concordia played in 1951, but the Bulldogs did beat the Huskers handily, 26-6, on November 10 of that year. Concordia billed itself as the "best in the state" in 1951.
