Concordia University, Nebraska Wrestling competed at the Doane Conner Oppenheim Open on Saturday (Dec. 6). The standouts for the Bulldogs were Cole Price and Gabe Kant.
Concordia went a combined 9-1 in the back half of the lineup on Tuesday (Nov. 25) as it earned GPAC dual wins over Briar Cliff, 27-13, and Waldorf, 32-16, in Sioux City, Iowa.
All nine GPAC men’s wrestling programs will convene in Sioux City, Iowa, on Tuesday for GPAC Day of Duals No. 1. The rundown for Concordia features matchups with Briar Cliff and Waldorf.
Concordia competitors combined for nine wins at the Younes Hospitality Open hosted by Nebraska-Kearney. In making his Bulldog debut, Cannon Carey came within one win of a place finish.
Nine of the 10 matches came with bonus points on Friday (Nov. 21) as No. 8 Doane defeated the Bulldogs, 33-17. The two sides split the final eight matches of the night in Crete.
It will be an NAIA top 20 matchup in Crete on Friday night when the Bulldogs clash with Doane in a GPAC dual. Concordia is coming off a 32-18 win over Hastings in its GPAC opener.
Two ascending programs met inside Friedrich Arena for the season's first GPAC dual. After Hastings jumped out early, the Bulldogs got on a roll with the help of three pins and won, 32-18.
With two tournaments in the books, the Bulldogs set their sights on their first home appearance of 2025-26. Concordia will host Hastings on Thursday evening in the GPAC opening dual for both sides.
Nationally ranked Bulldogs Gabe Kant and Cole Price came away from the Dakota Wesleyan Open with place finishes. The 10 Concordia wrestlers in the field combined for 18 wins on Saturday (Nov. 8).
A trio of Bulldogs represented Concordia Wrestling with top eight finishes while opening the 2025-26 season at the Falcon Open. Five Concordia athletes won multiple matches on the day.
