2026-27 Concordia University, Nebraska Wrestling Schedule
SEWARD, Neb. – A new era of Concordia University, Nebraska Wrestling will officially get underway on Halloween day. The program has announced a 2026-27 schedule featuring nine duals and six tournaments throughout the regular season. Isaiah Crosby will preside over his first tournament as head coach when the Friends Falcon Open kicks off the ’26-27 season.
Crosby was officially promoted to Head Coach on April 21. Then on May 18, Crosby and the Bulldogs announced the appointment of 2026 Concordia graduate Cole Price as Assistant Wrestling Coach. Since his hiring, Crosby has been working to solidify the ’26-27 roster. This past season, Concordia placed as the GPAC regular season (7-1 GPAC record) and tournament runner up and sent nine qualifiers to the NAIA National Championships.
Eight of the nine duals on the docket will be against conference foes. The Bulldogs will compete in standalone GPAC duals with Hastings (Nov. 12 away), Doane (Nov. 19 home) and Midland (Jan. 7 away). The conference will also hold GPAC Duals Days hosted by Hastings (Nov. 24) and Northwestern (Feb. 6). In Hastings, Concordia will dual Briar Cliff and Waldorf. In Orange City, the Bulldogs will go head-to-head with Dakota Wesleyan, Morningside and Northwestern. In nonconference action, Concordia will host York University for senior night on Jan. 29.
The six tournaments/opens will each take place at away venues. Following the Friends Open (Oct. 31), the Bulldogs will be represented at the Grand View Open (Nov. 14), Doane’s Conner Oppenheim Open (Dec. 5), Hastings Open (Jan. 9), Missouri Valley Invite (Jan. 22-23) and Sioux City Open (Jan. 30).
The 2027 GPAC Championships (Feb. 19-20) will be staged at Morningside, which most recently hosted the conference tournament in 2020. For the eighth consecutive year, the NAIA National Championships venue will be the Heartland Credit Union Arena in Park City, Kan. The national tournament is scheduled for March 4-6.
