SEWARD, Neb. – Head Coach Isaiah Crosby and the Concordia University, Nebraska Wrestling program have announced the addition of a new top assistant. Recent Bulldog graduate Cole Price has been tabbed as Assistant Wrestling Coach, as made public on May 18. Crosby was officially introduced as the program’s head coach on April 21.

Price graduated from Concordia University, Nebraska this May with his degree in Business Administration. He is a native of Papillion, Neb.

Said Price, “I would like to thank Isaiah and the staff at Concordia University, Nebraska for the opportunity to coach and share my knowledge. I look forward to helping the team grow both on and off the mat, with faith serving as the foundation of our identity. I envision this program being built on relentless effort, accountability and continuous growth, where every athlete is encouraged to reach their full potential.”

In his previous role as the program’s lead assistant, Crosby coached Price during the 2024-25 and 2025-26 seasons.

Said Crosby, “Cole is an outstanding individual, not only in the sport of wrestling but also in his faith and character. There are many reasons why I chose Cole for this role. He is a hard worker who consistently demonstrated discipline and commitment, never arriving late to practice, always being the last to leave workouts and giving his full effort in everything he does. Because of these qualities, selecting him was an easy decision. I am truly excited for the opportunity to work alongside Cole and look forward to helping him continue to grow both professionally and in his faith.”

As a student-athlete, Price demonstrated a high level of achievement both on the mat and academically. He qualified for nationals in both seasons as a Bulldog and posted a two-year record of 51-21 while competing at 157 and 165 pounds. Price was named a Second Team All-GPAC award winner for both 2024-25 and 2025-26. His academic honors include recognition as a two-time NWCA Scholar All-American, two-time NAIA Scholar-Athlete and Academic All-District selection (College Sports Communicators). Prior to transferring to Concordia, Price earned two All-America awards while wrestling at Iowa Western Community College. He obtained his associate’s degree from Iowa Western.

Cole is the son of Jeff and Cara Price. His younger brother Cal is a current Bulldog wrestling student-athlete and was a GPAC champion this past season. Cole is a Papillion La Vista High School alum. He was a three-time state place finisher and a two-year team captain during his time as a prep.
