Josh Slechta became the program's new record holder in the hammer throw and 11 different Bulldogs claimed event titles at Saturday's Concordia Outdoor Invite.
The annual Concordia Outdoor Invitational is set to get started at 11 a.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will look to expand upon their 24 automatic national qualifying marks.
Thanks to her trifecta of winning performances at the Bronco Invite, senior Stephanie Coley became the third thrower in 2016 to earn national weekly honors from the NAIA.
Both track and field programs appeared in the top three of the initial 2016 NAIA outdoor rankings released on Wednesday by the USTFCCCA.
Stephanie Coley and Lucas Wiechman were honored by the GPAC on Wednesday with weekly awards. The two athletes have 13 combined All-America plaques.
Stephanie Coley enjoyed a big time start to the outdoor season at Saturday's Bronco Invite hosted by Hastings. Throwers turned in 22 total national qualifying marks.
