The Concordia men’s and women’s track and field teams, both ranked second nationally, will compete in the GPAC meet this weekend in Hastings, Neb. The two-day event will take place May 6-7.
The GPAC office has announced this week’s Hauff Mid-America Sports/GPAC Women’s Outdoor Field Athlete of the Week as Concordia’s Samantha Liermann.
Three Bulldog athletes competed in the hammer throw on Saturday to close out the week for Concordia University track and field. Next up are the GPAC championships (May 6-7).
Liz King propped up her highly-ranked javelin mark and the men's 4x400 meter relay produced a solid time as part of Friday's action at the annual Drake Relays.
Josh Slechta broke another program record and Kim Wood turned in an automatic national qualifying mark at the Drake Relays as part of Thursday's action.
A group of 10 Bulldogs will travel to the prestigious Drake Relays to compete in Des Moines, Iowa. The list includes five throwers and five runners.
